Touchline Privacy Policy

Touchline: Live Soccer Scores is a soccer scores and fixtures app that provides schedules, match details, favorites, kickoff reminders, goal alerts, widgets, Live Activities, and related match information.

Touchline does not require users to create an account to access match information or the app's core features.

Information Touchline May Process

Depending on how the app is used, Touchline may process the following categories of information.

App Preferences and Activity

Touchline may store information such as:

• favorite teams and matches;
• followed matches;
• reminder and goal-alert preferences;
• app settings;
• widget state;
• Live Activity state; and
• interactions with app features.

Some of this information is stored locally on the user's device.

Notification Information

When a user enables reminders, goal alerts, or similar notification features, Touchline may process:

• an Apple Push Notification service device token;
• the match or alert associated with the notification request;
• notification preferences; and
• technical information needed to deliver and troubleshoot notifications.

Support Communications

When a user contacts Touchline by email, Touchline may receive the user's email address, the contents of the message, attachments the user chooses to provide, and related support correspondence.

Advertising and Technical Information

Touchline may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

When advertisements are requested or displayed, Google and its advertising technology partners may process information such as:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's approximate or general location;
• device identifiers, including advertising identifiers or app- or developer-scoped identifiers where available;
• advertisements viewed and interactions with advertisements;
• app launches, taps, and other product interactions;
• performance information, such as app launch time, responsiveness, or energy usage;
• crash logs; and
• other diagnostic information.

The exact information processed may depend on the user's device, region, privacy choices, Google configuration, and applicable law.

How Information Is Collected

Information may be collected:

• directly from the user, such as when the user changes app settings or sends a support email;
• automatically through use of the app;
• through Apple services used for notifications, widgets, and Live Activities;
• through Touchline's servers when providing match data or notification features; and
• through third-party services such as Google AdMob when advertisements are requested or displayed.

How Information Is Used

Touchline may use information to:

• provide schedules, scores, match details, favorites, alerts, widgets, and Live Activities;
• remember app settings and preferences;
• deliver notifications requested by the user;
• operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the app;
• diagnose crashes, performance issues, and service failures;
• respond to support and privacy requests;
• prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse;
• comply with legal obligations; and
• deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertisements.

Where permitted by applicable law and the user's privacy choices, Google may also use advertising information to personalize advertisements.

Advertising and Google AdMob

Touchline uses Google AdMob to provide Banner advertisements.

Google and its advertising partners may collect, process, or share information for purposes including:

• displaying advertisements;
• selecting contextual or personalized advertisements where permitted;
• measuring advertising performance;
• limiting repeated advertisements;
• detecting invalid traffic, fraud, or abuse;
• maintaining security; and
• improving advertising services.

Touchline does not independently control all information collected, processed, retained, or shared by Google and its advertising technology partners. Their processing is governed by their applicable policies, consent requirements, and legal obligations.

Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices

Where required by applicable law, Touchline uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent and related privacy choices.

Where the option is required or available, users may review or change their advertising privacy choices in the app by opening:

The availability and contents of the Privacy Choices option depend on the user's region, applicable law, and the privacy messages configured through Google.

Changing or withdrawing consent may affect the availability or type of advertisements displayed. It does not prevent the user from accessing match information or the app's core features.

Users may also manage applicable advertising and privacy settings through iOS Settings.

Third-Party Services

Touchline may use third-party services, including:

• Google AdMob for advertising;
• Google User Messaging Platform for advertising consent and privacy choices;
• Apple Push Notification service for notifications;
• Apple widgets and Live Activities;
• infrastructure and hosting providers used to operate Touchline's backend; and
• third-party soccer-data providers used to supply schedules, scores, standings, lineups, and match events.

Third-party services may process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

Soccer match data may be delayed, corrected, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.

Sharing of Information

Touchline may share or make information available to service providers only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide requested app features;
• deliver notifications;
• operate and secure the service;
• troubleshoot technical issues;
• provide and measure advertising;
• prevent fraud or abuse; or
• comply with applicable law.

Touchline does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Depending on applicable privacy law, some advertising-related processing by Google or its partners may be considered "sharing," targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising. Where required, relevant choices are made available through Google's consent messages and the in-app Privacy Choices option.

Data Retention

Touchline retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing requested features, maintaining security, troubleshooting problems, responding to support requests, and complying with legal obligations.

Favorites, app preferences, widget information, and certain Live Activity information may be stored locally on the device. Locally stored app information is generally removed when the user clears the relevant settings or deletes the app.

Notification tokens and alert registrations may be retained while needed to provide the requested notification service. They may also be removed or cease to be usable when an alert expires, notifications are disabled, a token becomes invalid, or the information is no longer reasonably necessary.

Support emails and related correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain support records, protect the service, or comply with legal obligations.

Google and its advertising partners retain and delete advertising-related information according to their own privacy and retention policies.

User Choices and Withdrawal of Consent

Users may:

• remove favorites or followed matches in the app;
• disable reminders or alerts in the app;
• disable notifications through iOS Settings;
• review or change available advertising choices through the in-app Privacy Choices option;
• delete the app to remove locally stored Touchline information; and
• contact Touchline to request access to or deletion of information controlled directly by Touchline.

Because Touchline does not require an account, Touchline may need limited information from the user to identify the relevant notification registration, device request, or support correspondence.

Security

Touchline uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information under its control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Touchline cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

Touchline may update this Privacy Policy when its features, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change.

When the policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will be revised. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate method where required.
